Crysis a fost mai mult sau mai puţin revoluţionar, însă cu siguranţă a adus un suflu nou în segmetul FPS-urilor. Crysis Warhead a fost scurt şi a vizat acelaşi conflict, însă din altă perspectivă. Iată că cei de la Crytek vor să-i asigure pe fani că al treilea titlu din serie este pe ţeavă şi au lansat câteva imagini şi două teaser-e. Ele prezintă doar noul nanosuit, orice alt detaliu legat de joc fiind inexistent. Viitorul titlu este prezentat de o companie necunoscută până acum, numită Crynet Systems. Nu putem vorbi despre o dată de lansare, însă Crysis 2 va fi lansat atât pe PC, cât şi pe consolele Xbox 360 şi PS3.

The show does take place in Germany after all, and Crytek's headquarters is in Frankfurt.
Instead of a new look at the anticipated title, we were told to wait until the Thursday of the show to see something. That means this Thursday, August 20. What will it be? We'll be throwing elbows on the show floor to make sure we get a good look, and we'll let you know."
